With this purchase, you will receive an instant download PDF pattern with detailed pictures and step by step instructions on how to make your own slouchy shoulder bag. This pattern is for the confident beginner and as written, can be made on most domestic machines. We’ve included dozens of pictures to accompany each step, as well as cutting measurements if you prefer not to print out any of the pattern pieces. 

Specs: Finished bag is approximately 13” wide by 12” tall by 4” deep.  It has 1 exterior slip pocket, 2 interior slip pockets, and 1 interior zipper pocket. As a bonus included in this pattern, we have included free svg files to cut out the small leather portions including the tassel. (Please note, we did NOT include svg files for ALL pattern pieces as most are too big to fit on the standard sized cutting mats.)

Materials & Supplies:
• ½ yard main fabric
• ½ yard waterproof canvas (recommended)
• ½ yard (or 3 sqft) leather/cork/vinyl
• ½ yard fusible fleece*
• ¼ yard Peltex 71F
• 1 yard of 45” woven interfacing*
• (1) 17” #5 zipper by the yard (or 18” bag zipper)
• (1) 9” #5 zipper by the yard (or 8” bag zipper)
• (2) #5 zipper pulls (if using zipper by the yard)
• (1) metal zipper end
• (1) 1” D ring or oversized O ring (*optional)
• (5) purse feet (*optional)
• 6mm and 8mm double cap rivets (*optional)
• 5/32” leather hole punch or rotary punch (*optional for rivets)
• ⅛”-¼” Double sided tape
• Wonder clips or metal hair clips
• Leather glue or Beacon Fabri-Tac™
• Quilting ruler
• Rotary cutter
